A generation can hold the Scriptures and still miss the Savior. The Pharisees did it with a scroll. We can do it with a screen. This is a forty-day journey for all ages, the parent and the student. It is not a lecture about phones. It is an honest look at the cost of the digital age we live in. Each day pairs a simple word from Scripture with what we are actually facing, then ends with three small steps. Look. Talk. Practice. No need to throw the phone away to take this journey. However, you do have to tell the truth about it. We are only as strong as we are honest. Lost in the scroll, they missed the Savior. Lost in the screen, we could do the same.

About Zach
Since 2010, Zach Hammond has served on staff at First Apostolic Church and Apostolic Christian Academy, where he is Student Pastor at the church and School Pastor for the Academy.
Zach was born in Watkinsville, Georgia, and grew up in the Apostolic heritage of his parents, Tim and Dorcas Hammond, who pastor New Life Apostolic Church there. After graduating in 2007, he enrolled at The Pentecostal Training Center in Alexandria, Louisiana.
His books include Curiosity vs Conviction, The Gardener, Proverbs: The Daily Devotional, Foxhole Faith and Lost in the Scroll, and he has written a series of comprehensive Bible studies with Jacob Sullivan.
Zach is married to Lauren.
